9th January 2009. (Smith Family Fun Day)

9th Jan. We had a sleep in which was fantastic, dragged ourselves out of bed at 8:30 and we were supposed to be out at 9am. So we slowly got ready and took the kids to a Smith Family fun day at a local school. We nearly drove past as there was vertually no-one there, but we stopped anyway. Luke our snake.
First the kids made flowerpots with tiles and plants, they look really good. Then they got their faces painted by a terrible face painter, I have decided that I will get back into face painting this year as Sian at the Smith Family reckons she can get me heaps of work.

From here we played on equiptment, read books, made bookmarks and cards, played large boardgames and had a great day.
James our dragon.
Then off home to finish our room and start Holly's room.
